2001.2.4生まれ。熊本県出身。
シンガーソングライターとして活動していた熊川みゆの音楽プロジェクト。

熊川みゆ時代にはアコースティックギターを主体の楽曲制作を行っていたが、
Eveとの出会いによって音楽の表現の深さに気づき、Myuk(読み：ミューク) の活動をスタート。
Myukは、スウェーデン語で「やさしさ」「やわからさ」の意味を持つ”Mjuk”と本名(Miyu Kumagawa)からの造語。
音楽に救われた経験から、自分もそういった存在になれるようにと柔らかくも、意思の強さを秘めたその歌声で、音楽を発信していく。

TVアニメ「約束のネバーランド」Season 2 EDテーマでEveによって書き下ろされた楽曲、「魔法」にて2021年メジャーデビューし、
秋元康原作のテレビ東京・ドラマプレミア23「ユーチューバーに娘はやらん！」のEDテーマとして楽曲「アイセタ」が大抜擢。
2022年6月には初の全国ワンマンツアーを成功させるなど、注目を集めている。

She has been a singer-songwriter since junior high school and made her major debut in 2021 as “Myuk”. After meeting Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, and others, she began creating songs mainly on acoustic guitar. After being discovered at a charity event in her hometown of Kumamoto,Japan, she began distributing and releasing her original songs at the age of 15, and after hooking up with Spotify and others, she performed at the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL at the age of 18. She had been writing lyrics by herself, but after meeting Eve, she realized the depth of musical expression and started her solo project “Myuk,” which features a wide variety of songs. Myuk is a coined word from the Swedish word “Mjuk,” meaning “kindness,” and her real name (Miyu Kumagawa).
